Health is defined as a state of physical, mental, and social well being and not merely physical well being. Health and fitness go hand in hand. We have to stay healthy; we have to keep fit. We must concentrate on our fitness if we have to maintain our health.
Fitness is the condition of being physically fit and healthy and involves attributes that include, but are not limited to mental acuity, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular
strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility.
While the words “fit” and “healthy” are often used synonymously in everyday language,

They keep your heart, lungs, and circulatory system healthy and improve your overall
fitness. Examples include brisk walking, jogging, swimming, and biking. Strength, or
resistance training, exercises make your muscles stronger. Some examples are lifting
weights and using a resistance band.
Health-related components of Physical Fitness. There are five components of physical fitness: (1) body composition, (2) flexibility, (3) muscular strength, (4) muscular endurance, and (5) cardiorespiratory endurance.
For better health and a longer life span, exercise is more important than weight loss,
especially if you are overweight or obese, according to an interesting new review of the

They are cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility,
power, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. You are as fit as you are
competent in each of these 10 skills, and a regimen develops fitness to the extent that it
improves each of these 10 skills.

Enough Good Sleep. .Go Easy on Alcohol and Stay Sober.
Resting heart rate – to assess aerobic fitness. Push-ups – to assess upper-body
muscular endurance. Head turning – to assess neck flexibility. 12-minute walk/run – to assess cardio capacity. Plank – to assess core stability. Loop-the-loop – to assess
shoulder mobility.
Improve your memory and brain function (all age groups). Protect against many chronic
diseases. Aid in weight management. Lower blood pressure and improve heart health.
Improve your quality of sleep. Reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. Combat
cancer-related fatigue.
Physical fitness refers to the ability of your body systems to work together efficiently to allow you to be healthy and perform activities of daily living. Being
efficient means doing daily activities with the least effort possible.
As a quick overview, Wellness is maintained by paying attention to our daily lives on
four levels: Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Health. To accomplish this, there
are five simple keys or exercises: Self-Love, Breathing, Positive Choices, Balance and Trust. Let's look at each.
